Darlene McCune is the Choral Director and General Music Teacher as well as Stage and Musical Director for “The Center Stage Drama Club” at Robert Lewis Middle School.  She has directed Alice in Wonderland; HMS Pinafore; The King and I and Annie.  Darlene is the District VII Choral Director’s Chair for  Mississippi  High  School  Activities  Association and was nominated  for “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”  She was the founding director of “The Morgantown Maestros.”  She has been a Vocal Faculty Member and Artistic Administrator with the Mississippi Summer Arts Institute at Delta State University and teaches private piano and voice lessons.  Darlene is a graduate of Delta State University where she was active in many performing groups on campus and with the Opera Theater group performing in numerous roles.  At NLT, she has been the Musical Director of "Carmen," "Martha," "Mississippi Medicine Show," "La Cage aux Folles," and of the 2006 Summer Youth Workshop and "The Hobbit."  Darlene will make her NLT stage debut in "Big River."
