Our 58th Season offers three comedies, two musicals,
one drama, a Christmas production, three weekends of one-act plays, the
Stan Dean Ovation Awards Gala and student productions. That's a lot of
entertainment and we offer three levels of membership. We open this
season with the great American comedy that celebrates theatre with a
capital “T,”
The Royal Family
September 15 - 18, 2005. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
evening during Fall Pilgrimage as well as two Sunday matinees, October 21
– November 6, 2005,
Big
River will be presented. Talk about fun, this
hand clappin', toe tappin', Roger Miller musical adventure down the Mighty
Mississippi is about Huckleberry Finn based on the works of Mark Twain and
won the Tony award for Best Musical. If you are coming to Natchez during
Fall Pilgrimage this show is a must see. Thanksgiving weekend in November
24 - 27, 2005, we will present the award winning romantic comedy,
Private
Lives by Noel Coward. December 6, 8, 9, 10,
11, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 25, will find Natchez Little Theatre’s uniquely
original production of
A Natchez Christmas Carol
set in antebellum Natchez with period Christmas music.
January 27 - 30, 2006, will bring the Lillian Hellman powerful and
revealing drama,
The Children’s Hour,
to the NLT stage. For three weekends in February Natchez Little Theatre

16, 2006, it’s time for a little
Southern Exposure
every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. This Broadway play by Owen
Crump is set in 1950’s Natchez. The romantic comedy about Natchez and the
Pilgrimage has been a visitor favorite for over 50 years, making it one of
the longest running plays in community theater history and the ultimate
Natchez story. On Mother's Day weekend, May 11 -14, 2006, the NLT Youth
Workshop will present two one-act operas, Carmen and
Martha. The season closes with the lavish Tony Award winning
Jerry Herman musical
La Cage aux Folles,
